Hey all, Dani here. Okay, well we have made it to the month of May, which means it's time to look back on what I read in April. Honestly it was a pretty slow start to the reading month for me...despite the fact that I bought a lot of books in April, and I had… Continue reading April Reading Wrap-Up

Reading Wrap Up Jan-March 2021
Hey all, Dani here. Okay, so I haven't had a wrap up of what I've read so far. That makes sense for a couple different reasons. First, I wasn't blogging regularly the first few months of the year. Secondly, I actually haven't read that much overall, so trying to do a wrap-up post would have… Continue reading Reading Wrap Up Jan-March 2021
Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon April 2021
Hey all, Dani here. I love participating in Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon every year. There are sessions every April and October, and the past couple years there has been a Reverse Summer Readathon around July. The first couple years I participated were some of the best reading days I've had in my reading life. The… Continue reading Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon April 2021
Plans for the Blog
Hey all, Dani here. It's time for some changes. Now, don't worry, I'm not getting rid of this blog or anything...at least not yet. I have thought about doing a YouTube channel for a number of years now and I just haven't done it, but my fiance and I are talking about possibly working on… Continue reading Plans for the Blog
Books I Want to Read This Spring
Hey all, Dani here. Wow, look at this, a post outside of my regular Calendar Girls posts. Okay, so I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, but don't expect frequent posts just yet, or lengthy ones. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do things now. I've been thinking… Continue reading Books I Want to Read This Spring
Goals for 2021
Hey all, Dani here. Wow, hello everyone. Look at this...two days into the new year and this is my second blog post. That feels pretty good since I wasn't blogging much at the end of last year. And if I manage to get my posts prepped up, I should have a post up every day… Continue reading Goals for 2021
December Wrap-Up and January TBR
Hey all, Dani here. Well, so long and good riddance to 2020. It was definitely a very odd year, and I am glad that it is over. I'm really hoping that 2021 is better, but overall last year wasn't completely horrible. I did have some pretty great things happen...like meeting some new geek friends and… Continue reading December Wrap-Up and January TBR
Weekly Wrap-Up (91)
Hey all, Dani here. This has been an interesting week. My supervisor has been absent all week, and I just found out that he's off on COVID-19 leave. Thank goodness I don't spend a lot of time (if any) around him on a regular basis. Besides, it's likely that he picked it up while off… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (91)
Weekly Wrap-Up (90)
Hey all, Dani here. Okay, so this last week has been a little better on the mental health side of things, honestly. Yes, I still had quite a few overtime hours for work, including last Saturday, but I was able to read a bit more, and we got our Dungeons & Dragons group together for… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (90)
Weekly Wrap-Up (89)
Hey all, Dani here. Wow...well it's been a couple weeks. I'm so sorry I disappeared as soon as November started. I have no answer other than pandemic depression and anxiety are now really starting to kick in for me. I managed to keep my chin up for like six months, but after what would have… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (89)
