Hey all, Dani here.
Just a few more days until Thanksgiving. Yumm…I’m already anticipating the turkey, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, and especially the pie. But honestly, most of all, I’m excited for the time with family. Thanksgiving is my mom’s favorite holiday, so it is the one holiday I won’t miss–sometimes Christmas and Easter happen early or late, depending on schedules.
Anyway, I’m also hoping to accomplish some reading this weekend as well, because I’ve been feeling rather unaccomplished when it comes to my overall November reading progress. But it’s okay, because I was already way past my Goodreads goal for the year, so having a slow month is totally fine.
All right, let’s jump into today’s Manga Monday review post.

My Thoughts
Rating: 4.5 stars
Okay, I actually really liked this volume. I like seeing the ripple effects from All Might’s retirement, and the questions and situations that are brought up because of it. Who will be the next Symbol of Peace? How will the hero rankings shift? How do the relationships between so many of these characters evolve because of recent events?
Frankly, I’m really excited to get to delve deeper into this arc of the story, and I can’t wait to see what we learn about heroes and villains alike.
The way this volume ended was pretty action packed and for a hot second it left me reeling, thinking that more retirement and/or death was possible and likely for some characters. It was all pretty intense, and definitely fueled my anticipation for the next volume.
Damian and I totally need to catch up on Season 4 of the anime, which I don’t believe will make it up to this volume, but it should still hold some really exciting fights and developments. My Hero Academia remains one of my favorite manga/anime series (I should probably do a manga/anime recommendations post sometime soon-ish).
I look forward to diving into the next volume.
