Hey all, Dani here. I'm going to be honest...I feel wonderfully obsessed at the moment and it is actually invigorating and making me feel like I can do amazing things. Seriously, listening to the Lumaworld audiobook last week, as well as watching more "Fairy Tail," and then thinking about "Black Clover" and "My Hero Academia"...all of… Continue reading Colorworld Readalong – Book One Schedule

Checking In
Hey all, Dani here. Sorry that I haven't posted as much this week. Honestly my schedule was thrown all out of whack by being moved temporarily to night shift. I'm actually going to be on this shift for another two weeks before going back to days, so I hope that I'll be able to pick… Continue reading Checking In
Weekly Wrap-Up (64)
Hey all, Dani here. I actually got a pretty good sleep in today, which feels nice. But I'm still waiting to find out exactly what's going to happen for me at work. Will they keep me on the night shift? Will I go back to day shift? The uncertainty makes it a little difficult to… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (64)
Weekend Writer: Steering the Craft by Ursula K. Le Guin — Part One
Hey all, Dani here. Happy Easter everyone! We're having a pretty chill day here in our nerd home. I got a small ham, and I'm going to make up some mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, and dinner rolls, which should be pretty good, and then I think we're going to play some board games for a… Continue reading Weekend Writer: Steering the Craft by Ursula K. Le Guin — Part One
Weekend Writer: March Progress
Hey all, Dani here. As we all know, the world really went bonkers in March, so as is probably expected, I did not get like any writing accomplished. Or, at least, I didn't get any writing done on my novel. Because I was sitting there thinking about it a couple days ago, and just because… Continue reading Weekend Writer: March Progress
Weekend Writer: Light the Dark – Writers on Creativity, Inspiration, and the Artistic Process – Part Three
Hey all, Dani here. I'll be honest. I'm feeling a little out of sorts today. It's been this way since I woke up, so though I can't exactly remember what I dreamed about last night, I'm guessing it wasn't sunshine and rainbows. There's a fine line of balance between keeping apprised of world news and… Continue reading Weekend Writer: Light the Dark – Writers on Creativity, Inspiration, and the Artistic Process – Part Three
Weekend Writer: Light the Dark – Writers on Creativity, Inspiration, and the Artistic Process – Part Two
Hey all, Dani here. I am already trying to make myself so many plans for this blog on the off chance that my workplace shuts down. Right now it seems like factory life is continuing with the only change being constant reminders to wash your hands and such. But I am thinking up so many… Continue reading Weekend Writer: Light the Dark – Writers on Creativity, Inspiration, and the Artistic Process – Part Two
Weekly Wrap-Up (55)
Hey all, Dani here. It has been a weird week. I spent half the time feeling like an utter mess, but I've started to bounce back and I'm feeling pretty darn good about that. Of course that also means that I'm making some pretty ambitious plans for myself for the upcoming week, so I guess… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (55)
Weekend Writer: Light the Dark – Writers on Creativity, Inspiration and the Artistic Process — Part One
Hey all, Dani here. Okay, I'm sorry that today's post is so late. Today was somewhat of a bad mental health day for me. I've just been feeling like I'm putting a lot of work into some of my hobbies but having more and more moments where I'm not feeling as fulfilled. It has definitely… Continue reading Weekend Writer: Light the Dark – Writers on Creativity, Inspiration and the Artistic Process — Part One
Bookish Academy Awards Tag
Hey all, Dani here. So today I have a non-Middle Grade March post, and that’s because I do this tag every year at this time. I don't know why I wait to do it until March, when the Academy Awards took place last month. I tell myself that it's so I can go over all… Continue reading Bookish Academy Awards Tag
