Hey all, Dani here.
Okay, yes, so we’re already halfway through the month but I did want to start doing my anticipated releases posts every month instead of quarterly. Mostly because there are just so many books coming out each month that I want to mention, but I end up pulling so many titles because they are ones that I’m not up-to-date with the series or they aren’t the main ones I’m excited about…because otherwise my posts would be super long. Not anymore! Now I will present all the books I’m excited about each month (and I promise, I’ll have the May Anticipated Releases post up end of April/beginning of May). This is just me trying to figure out everything I want to do with this blog revamping.
I think I actually already really like doing these in a month by month format, because I can divide the books up by the week they release and possibly even talk about them a little bit more than I would in a seasonal anticipated releases post, which is pretty cool.
Okay, let’s talk about some book releases already.
My Hero Academia Vol 27 by Kohei Horikoshi (April 6), The Girl from the Other Side: Siuil a Run Vol 10 by Nagabe (April 6)
I find that a lot of the time manga seems to come out at the end of the month or the beginning of the month. Anyway, both of these are series that I really enjoy, and make sure that I keep up to date with when it comes to picking up releases.
The Prison Healer by Lynnette Noni (April 13), Gifting Fire by Alina Boyden (April 13), The Serpent’s Curse by Lisa Maxwell (April 13)
Witches Steeped in Gold by Ciannon Smart (April 20), A Dark Queen Rises by Ashok K Banker (April 20), The Queen of Izmoroz by Jon Skovron (April 20), These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy (April 20)
Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells (April 27), Gilded Serpent by Danielle L Jensen (April 27), Eye of the Sh*t Storm by Jackson Ford (April 27), The Ancient Magus’ Bride Vol 14 by Kore Yamazaki (April 27)
For the rest of these books, are there many that are second or third books in a series that I’m not caught up with? Well, yes, that is absolutely true. Will that stop me from buying the newest installments? Nope, absolutely not. Because, I do want to read them, and by having a bunch of them on my shelves, I’m ready for a binge-read when I’m in the mood.
Obviously since we are a decent chunk of the way through the month, I’ve already purchased some of these books, so you’ll see them in my April Book Haul and OwlCrate Unboxing post. If I’m really lucky then I’ll have even read some of these and will be able to post up some reviews. I don’t know. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of posting. I can say that I’m pretty excited that I’ve actually been consistently posting this month, and I’m hoping to keep it going.
Are there any April releases you were excited about or are still excited about? Let me know in the comments.
Okay, I do believe that is all from me for today. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back soon with more geeky content.
I can’t wait for my copy of The Queen of Izmoroz to get here tomorrow!

Yay! I feel like I need to reread the first book before I can jump into Izmoroz. Of course I loved Ranger Of Marzanna so it’s worth a reread regardless.

I have debated on doing that myself.
