Hey all, Dani here.
Well, another week has come and gone. Tomorrow I have a Blog Tour review coming on the blog, and then on Friday I’ll have my September Wrap-Up and October TBR post. Then…maybe sometime this weekend, or possibly at the beginning of next week, I’ll be posting my Top Ten Reads of 2020: July-September post. If you weren’t already aware, I have read so many great books in 2020, and normally I would do a Top Ten for the first half of the year and then the second half of the year. But there were just too many for me to be able to truly narrow them down, so for this year I have decided to do my Top Ten Reads for each quarter of the year. I’m excited to talk more about some of the amazing books I’ve read these past few months…even though I know that I could really gush about them if I could stay caught up on my reviews.
Anyway, yet again this week I do not have a video game update for you guys. I want to play a little bit, but the problem is that I just don’t have a lot of free time after factoring in a full-time job, a part-time job, cooking, cleaning, trying to write, and the oh so necessary relaxation time.
When it comes to watches, in the past week we watched “The Black Cauldron” and the first half of the first season of “Supernatural.” I think that’s it? I should probably start writing my watches down again, because I feel like I somewhat regularly forget things.
Okay, now let’s talk about what I’ve finished reading in the past week, because I do have some nice updates for this section of the post. I honestly was only planning on having four books in this wrap-up section, but we had to make a trip to the store for pain reliever medication for Damian, and I of course swung through the book section and saw Allie Brosh’s new book…and despite it being almost 500 pages, it was such a quick read. So, there you go. Plus, I finished Legendborn, which I will definitely be writing a review for, but you’ll hear me gush more about it in my Top Ten July-Sept post. I also finally made myself pick Fable back up and finish it, which seems silly because it was a good book; I don’t know why I set it aside. And of course, I finished both Well Played and Crazy Stupid Bromance, because it really doesn’t take that long to read contemporary romance, especially releases I’ve been eager to read.
Then there’s what I’m currently reading. Obviously I’m still in the middle of Red Sister because I set it aside and got distracted by other books. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read so far, so I need to try and get myself to finish it…maybe tonight, so it’ll count towards my September Wrap-Up. I’m also in the middle of The Bone Shard Daughter, which I started yesterday at work, and I’m reading Kingdom of Sea and Stone so I can get my Blog Tour Review ready for next week.
Speaking of blog tours and needing to read books, I was recently approved for the tour for A Golden Fury, and it has a somewhat quick turn around, so I’ll be wanting to read that in the next week or so, so that I can get my review post up on October 15th. Then I’ve been wanting to read Master of Poisons, so I’m hoping I can pick it up pretty soon as well. After that…well, after that I’ll be trying to take on some of my October TBR. Of course, if you’ve been following my TBRs and my Wrap-Ups, you’ll probably notice that these past months I’ve only actually finished like two or three books from my TBR each month. Oh well. At least I’m enjoying what I’m reading.
That is all from me for today. What are you currently reading? Let me know in the comments because I love to chat about books, and I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
So many of these are on my TBR! Legendborn and Well Played are at the top of my list, and I loved Fable! Such a good story!!

Well Played was that little bit of Ren Faire that I’m missing this year, so I really enjoyed it. And Legendborn was absolutely AMAZING! I will be recommending it to everyone. Fable was good, but still not my favorite by Adrienne Young.
