Weekly Wrap-Up (81)

Hey all, Dani here.

Work was pretty tough today, and I’m honestly going to end up keeping this post short because my body is so sore from my work shift that typing actually hurts a bit. I’m hoping that relaxing and a hot shower tonight will help, because I have so many reviews that I’m hoping to type up this weekend.

Still no video game updates for this weekly wrap-up.

When it comes to watches, we watched The Mummy trilogy, “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and the first few episodes of “Star Trek: the Original Series.” I think that’s all we watched, besides our weekly episode of “Critical Role.”

Okay, next up is what I’ve read in the past week.

Overall, I’d say not a bad week of reading, and most of what I’ve read are books that I can now review for NetGalley, which is pretty great. I’m feeling kind of guilty about my low-ish review ratio, so I’m trying to work on getting a bunch of books read and reviews written so I can improve that.

So I’m in the middle of a few rather interesting fantasy reads at the moment, which is great, and I’m hoping to finish them soon. There are so very many books I’m hoping to read soon, but I’d like to finish what I’m currently reading before adding even more books to my currently reading list.

I don’t know exactly what books I’m going to pick up soon, but I know I want to do a marathon re-read of Gideon the Ninth and then jump immediately into Harrow the Ninth. But I also might make a trip to Barnes & Noble because there are a bunch of new releases I need to get my hands on. So anything in that particular book haul might be something I pick up next as well. Only time will tell.

I think that’s about all for now. What are you reading? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
