Hey all, Dani here.
Work has been so painful the last couple weeks. My arms, hands, and fingers are aching so bad that it is not at all easy to write up posts. But I told myself that I would still at least get my weekly update post up, so here we are. I only have 5 more work days left this year, so I am just trying to get through them and then it will be a relaxing couple weeks of watching TV and movies, and reading a whole lot (hopefully).
Anyway, I’m still playing Pokemon Shield, and I’m getting ready to take on the 8th gym trainer, so that’s pretty fun. I still have quite a bit of game to play through. But again, with as sore as my body is right now I can’t play as long as I would like.
So I’m spending my evenings watching TV and reading books. Let’s start this wrap up with our watches over the last week. We watched “The Secret Life of Pets,” “Toy Story 4,” “Solo,” “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,” “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” “The Imitation Game,” and I’m continuing my re-watch of “Arrow” Season 3. Damian and I also started watching “The Flash” Season 5, so it has been a pretty eventful week.
Now let’s talk about what I’ve finished reading over the past week. The answer to that is the books I was in the middle of reading last week: The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams and Tweet Cute by Emma Lord. So yeah, I have some reviews to write up, though you won’t see my Tweet Cute review until next month…because I am actually part of the book tour, which is super cool. I’m in a couple other book tours in January too, so I’ll probably talk more about those soon enough.
My current reads are Crier’s War by Nina Varela and The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee. They are two very different reads, but I can say that I am enjoying both of them quite a bit. They both work as Diverse December reads, but Genie Lo is also my Week 2 prompt choice for the Winter Magical Readathon.
I haven’t read as many books so far in December as I would like to be at this point–I’ve finished 4 books, and am in the middle of 2 others. My want to read pile is still pretty darn big.
With that being said, here are the books I’m still hoping to get to next. Well, there are quite a few other books on my list, so I’m really hoping I can read pretty quickly and really bump up my 2019 books read number on my Goodreads challenge.
That is all from me for today, but I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
Enjoy your reading!
I also haven;t read as much as I would have want this month haha, Ithink I also read four and am in the middle of two 🙂

Working in a factory is definitely giving me some serious carpal tunnel issues, but it’ll ease up when the Christmas shutdown arrives. Thank you! And I think my Bromance Book Club review should be up next week.
