Weekly Wrap-Up (6)

Hey all, Dani here.

It is time for my weekly discussion of what I’ve done and read and watched and played and tried in the past week. Honestly it’s going to be a bit short in the book area, because I have only been able to manage a little bit of reading at work, and pretty much the rest of my time has been monopolized by the move. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We’ll be completely out of the apartment in the next couple of days, and we are slowly but steadily unpacking all the boxes and settling into our new home.

Anyway, as for what I’ve read over the past week…well, I just finished Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow today. So yay…I read half a book in the past week. But it was an absolutely wonderful book, and hopefully I’ll be able to find a few minutes to type up my review in the next few days.

So, my next read is Sal & Gabi Break the Universe by Carlos Hernandez, and I am really hoping that I’ll actually be able to fly through this one, because I’d like to go into #ReadathonbyZoe with a clean reading slate. If not, then I guess I’ll start the readathon by finishing this one. The other books I’m hoping to read in the next week are ones that I’ve mentioned in my readathon announcement and TBR post, so you can go and check that out here.

Then there’s what we’ve watched in the past week. We watched Pocahontas (again, Disney movies make great background noise), and then we managed to finish Season 9 of Doctor Who, and have just started Season 10. Now what is super fun about that is that I have only watched the first episode of Season 10, so we’ll get to experience the final season of Capaldi together.

Whew, and honestly I think that is it.

Okay, fine, here’s a sneak preview at my upcoming library tour post. I just started organizing the bookshelves last night.

All right, well that is all for today. Let me know what awesome books you’ve been reading and/or what awesome shows/movies you’ve been watching, and I will be back soon with more bookish content.
