Hey all, Dani here.
I can’t believe that it’s already time to start talking about spring book releases. Actually, I’ve seen that they’ve started to show off a lot of the covers for fall releases, and can 2019 slow down just a little bit, please? I need more time to enjoy the books and ARCs I’ve been getting.
Anyway, there are quite a few books I’m looking forward to in March, April, and May. Some are sequels, some are series finishers, and some are debuts. I have some fantasy, some sci-fi, and a few contemporary, so I’m pretty excited about the variety.
Let’s start with March
The Shadowglass by Rin Chupeco (March 5), Deathcaster by Cinda Williams Chima (March 5), Sherwood by Meagan Spooner (March 19), The Wicked + The Divine Volume 8 by Kieron Gillen and Jamie McElvie (March 12), Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell (March 26)
I have paperbacks for Cinda Williams Chima’s series, so I won’t be picking up this release until next year when the paperback comes out. I am definitely buying Rin Chupeco’s trilogy finale and the new WicDiv installment, but other than that I think I’ll be using the library.
Next up is April, and oh boy, there are quite a few April releases. I’m hoping that my budget will be a little better by then, or else I’m going to have to wait on buying quite a few of these. Of course, I’ll likely borrow them from the library in the meantime.
Wicked Saints by Emily A Duncan (April 2), No Country for Old Gnomes by Kevin Hearne and Delilah S Dawson (April 16), The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston (April 2), King of Fools by Amanda Foody (April 30), Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett (April 16), All for One by Melissa de la Cruz (April 16), Storm of Locusts by Rebecca Roanhorse (April 23)
Thanks to the publishers and NetGalley, I have galleys for No Country for Old Gnomes and King of Fools, so I hope to have reviews up for those coming in the upcoming month or so. And I will continue to keep raving about the awesomeness that is Wicked Saints. Actually, I’m probably going to end up re-reading it very soon, and then I’ll probably read it again once I get the finished copy. It is seriously one of my favorite books.
Finally for the spring releases, we have May.
Again But Better by Christine Riccio (May 7), Kingsbane by Claire Legrand (May 21), Queenslayer by Sebastien de Castell (May 21)
I loved the first book in Claire Legrand’s series, so I’m ready to lose myself in the next installment, and I’ve been following Christine Riccio’s writing progress from draft to editing and all of that, so I’m looking forward to reading the finished product.
What spring releases are you looking forward to? Are there any good ones that I’ve missed and should add to my TBR? Let me know in the comments. I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
I’m so excited for Again, But Better! Can’t wait for it to be released!

Right? I’ve only been listening to Christine talk about it for three years now.

It is sooo good. If I can get the chance to meet Emily Duncan then I am taking it.
