Manga Review: The Dungeon of Black Company Vol. 1

Hey Damian here guys,

Another manga review for my otaku types. Slowing down on my reading for a bit cause of dealing with house buying. Looking pretty good so far so keeping our fingers crossed that this will continue to go smoothly. Well enough babbling on my part hers the review.

Summary

Kinji had it made–a swank apartment, a real estate empire, and enough cash to lounge around living the good life. After a freak magical accident, he washes up in another world, all but enslaved to a crooked corporation. In a fantastical land where money is everything, there’s only one way for an Earthling to get ahead: make your fortune, by any means necessary! Dragons, goblins, and the occasional dubious potion won’t stop Kinji’s quest for the world’s biggest bank account. The Black Company is open for business!

Review

Rating: 3

Honestly this manga is one that I’m not sure whether or not I will continue. I was hoping for a chance of redemption for this character maybe in some way, but that does not seem to be the case in the long run. The concept seems legit but I feel the execution may be a little lacking and I did not find myself thoroughly enjoying it. However I am giving points to the art and wide variety of characters. I neither hated or liked it so it is stuck at the middle about for my rating.
