So today’s post comes courtesy of Kathy from Books & Munches, and she is one of my favorite book bloggers–even though she oftentimes makes me hungry with her photos of food. Anyway, she did a blanket tag for anyone who wanted to do the post, and I liked her questions, so I accepted the blanket tag, so thank you for that Kathy.

Okay, now with the rules out of the way, let’s jump into the questions Kathy asked.
- What’s your most favorite city so far? If I want to be sappy here, I’m going to say Columbus, Ohio, because it was at the Columbus Zoo that my fiance proposed. But from the non romantic sappy side of me, I’m going to have to say that my favorite city so far has been Florence, Italy. It was a tough call; It was a debate between Florence, Venice, and Rome. I had a spring break trip in college around France and Italy, and it was such a wonderful and cultural experience.
- Is there an author who’s disappointed you thoroughly, but you’d still read the books of? Not really. If an author disappoints me and then releases a book that sounds vastly different from previous releases, I’ll give them a second try, but if they disappoint me again, I generally write them off…unless I continuously hear amazing things from book loving friends whose opinions I respect…and then the author might get a third chance.
- What kind of posts do you love reading but loathe writing yourself? I have seen so many awesome discussion posts out there, and I enjoy reading them and joining in on the discussion in the comments, but I don’t know if I have the proper amount of free time available to compose a good discussion post myself. I don’t really loathe writing anything. I just sometimes wish that I could do this whole reading and blogging thing for a living so I could write up all the posts I can’t fit in my schedule now.
- What’s the food you could eat all day, every day for a month if you had to? If I wanted to somewhat cheat, I would say pizza for this one, but that’s just because you can make breakfast pizzas, and dessert pizzas, and fruit or veggie pizzas, etc. But for my actual answer, I’ll just go with pasta. I absolutely love pasta of all kinds, so I could easily live off it for a month if I needed to.
- Describe your favorite way of spending a holiday. Would it be awful of me to say that my favorite way to spend a holiday would be with something hassle-free and not involving a lot of preparation or people or chaos? I love having those relaxing days where I can lounge on the couch and binge read or binge watch all day. But considering how into family holidays my fiance’s family is, most holidays we have to balance and schedule out the meals and events for three or four different family groups, and it just utterly stresses me out. I’m used to my family that doesn’t really do much for the holidays because really it’s just another day.
- If you’d write a novel about your life, what would it be called? My Geeky Life ……… maybe. I don’t know. I’m sure a better title could come. Or maybe I could say the title for the nerdy romance book I’m currently trying to write: Roll for Romance. (Okay, yes, I did just reveal the working title for my book here. Woohoo! Now I just need people to pressure me to keep writing and finish it)
- When entering a bookstore, do you only browse your favorite sections or do you browse the entire store? I will check out the displays and such that are just inside the doors, but then I head straight for the YA sections and the Sci-Fi/Fantasy sections. Unless I’m looking for a specific title that I know is in a different area.
- Can you walk by a bookstore without entering? [Please tell me HOW if you can.] Yes…but not by choice. If I’m with other people and they are focused on going to a different store, then I walk on by…but the whole time I am thinking about how I really want to just go inside my happy place with the books.
- Imagine it being a gorgeous day and you’re going to read outside. What two books off your TBR would you take with you? Why? Hmm…I think that would technically depend on my mood and the season, or if I’m in the middle of a readathon or not. But I would probably say, based on my current TBR, that I would take Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend and Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett.
- Do you have a secret talent not many people have? [Like, some people can lick their elbow!] Well, no, not really. No secret talents to report, sadly.
- If you got a new pet to name, would you go with a literary name or not? Which one would you pick? If the literary name fit the pet, then sure! But any names I would consider would need to be approved by my fiance as well, so the name would be more likely to be after a manga character or something.
Obviously by the title of this post, you can tell that I enjoy doing the Sunshine Blogger Award tag again, and that pretty much means that I have tagged just about everyone on my follow list whose posts I check out on a regular basis. If I had the free time to consistently follow more blogs then I would. So, I’m going to take the potentially lazy and easy way out of this and do a blanket tag as well. I honestly feel like the online book community is overall wonderful, and I’m so glad to be a part of it, so you are all fantastic and deserving of this award/tag.
