Hey all, Dani here. Okay, so my review today is one of those sort of oddball ones. Like, it took me two attempts to be able to read this book. The first time I picked it up--a couple years ago, I might add--I struggled and slogged through the first 50 pages. The book just wasn't… Continue reading Review: The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski

Review: Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart
Hey all, Dani here. Whew, today was a busy day of running a whole bunch of errands before coming to work. I'm wore out already and I'm in for a pretty busy weekend. Don't worry I have some recent read reviews coming too, but I'm trying to balance newer reviews with some of my review… Continue reading Review: Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart
Weekly Wrap-Up (46)
Hey all, Dani here. We have already finished one whole week of the new year, which is impressive. I'd love to say that on a global scale that this was a wonderful week to start the new decade, but that would be a massive lie. Honestly between all the hate, violence, war, and natural disasters… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (46)
Manga Monday: Black Clover Vol 12
Hey all, Dani here. Manga Monday is back! I still have quite the lengthy list of manga reviews to write up, so this blog series is not going anywhere for the foreseeable future. Also, I do hope you guys don't mind me having two posts up on Calendar Girls Monday AKA the first Monday of… Continue reading Manga Monday: Black Clover Vol 12
Weekend Writer: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
Hey all, Dani here. A new year means a new focus on certain blog series that I let slide a bit at the end of the year, and a new focus on my own writing. I really loved doing my Weekend Writer posts last year, even though they took a lot of time and were… Continue reading Weekend Writer: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
Review: Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
Hey all, Dani here. Wow, so I had to re-write the intro to this post. I had plans to just post backlog reviews every day in November while I focused on NaNoWriMo, but then I didn't get enough posts prepped up, and then the month got super-stressful, and so I ended up not really doing… Continue reading Review: Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
Review: The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee
Hey all, Dani here. Well I feel like quite a prolific blogger already for the week/new year. I ended my 2019 with two posts each day and so far I've managed to have posts ready for the first handful of days in 2020, so that's pretty good. But I still have quite a ways to… Continue reading Review: The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee
December Wrap-Up and January TBR
Hey all, Dani here. Okay, before I can really focus on the new month/new year of reading, I first have to wrap up all of last month's reading and content. While I didn't generate as many posts as I would have liked, I can blame a lot of that on how work made me feel… Continue reading December Wrap-Up and January TBR
Weekly Wrap-Up (45)
Hey all, Dani here. Hello and Happy New Year! Welcome to 2020. I'll have my Goals for 2020 post up later today, and tomorrow I'll be wrapping up December and talking about my January TBR, so there's a whole lot to look forward to here at Mousai Books. Okay, so first up is watches. We… Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up (45)
Review: Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey
Hey all, Dani here. Welcome to my final review post of 2019. I can't wait to see all the reviews I am able to post in 2020; I'm hoping it will also be a year of primarily great reads. Also, I sat down last night and made a list of books I've read but haven't… Continue reading Review: Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey
