Books I’d Like to Read This Fall

Hey all, Sam here.

As I said in yesterday’s post, I definitely decided against making a TBR for October since we’re already nearly halfway into the month…and since I’m going to be focusing on writing my book in November, I probably won’t do a TBR for next month either. However…there are a bunch of books I’ve accumulated in the past couple of months, as well as a couple of books that I’ve had on my shelf since last year, that I would like to read this Spooky Season.

When it comes to fall reads, I want more moody, atmospheric, spooky, paranormal type fantasy reads. And I have 17 books on my Fall Reads pile, which seems like a lot, especially considering I’ve only been reading like 5-8 books a month for the last few months, but I’m hoping for the best.

Anyway…here’s the books I’m hoping to read over the next couple of months:

Top Row: Saevus Corax Deals with the Dead by K.J. Parker, Beautiful Villain by Rebecca Kenney, London Seance Society by Sarah Penner, On the Nature of Magic by Marian Womack, The Last Heir to Blackwood Library by Hester Fox, The Gilded Crown by Marianne Gordon

Middle Row: The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White, The Sins on Their Bones by Laura R. Samotin, We Shall Be Monsters by Tara Sim, Payback’s a Witch by Lana Harper, Belladonna by Adalyn Grace

Bottom Row: A Demon’s Guide to Wooing a Witch by Sarah Hawley, A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing a Vampire by Sarah Hawley, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna, Tonight, I Burn by Katharine Adams, Foul Days by Genoveva Dimova, Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan

I think some of these are going to be quick reads, which would be nice. And I’ve been anticipating pretty much all of these. Like, I really want to read them. I just keep not reading, or not having nearly as much time to read. That has honestly sucked, but I still keep hoping that my reading lulls and reading slumps are going to come to an end soon enough, or at least stop having them as frequently.

All right, well that is all from me for today. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I’ll hopefully be back soon with more geeky content.
