Hey all, Dani here.
Good morning! Actually, I’ll be honest, it’s afternoon now. I stayed up a little too late reading and so I didn’t get this post schedule to post when it was supposed to. So I didn’t wake up until like 11:30. Oops. I regret nothing, because I finished two absolutely amazing reads, and will have reviews scheduled for the next couple of weeks. It’s going to be great.
Anyway, here’s the first of my Manga Monday posts, just a couple hours later than normal. It’s totally fine.
Let’s jump into the review.

Summary
In a world of magic, Asta, a boy with anti-magic powers, will do whatever it takes to become the Wizard King!
Asta is a young boy who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. Only one problem—he can’t use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can’t use magic really become the Wizard King? One thing’s for sure—Asta will never give up!
With their friend and teammate turned into an elf, the other members of the Black Bulls will risk their lives to return Luck back to normal. But is their only hope Asta and his new sword?
My Thoughts
Rating: 5 stars
HENRY!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s it; that’s the review. 5 stars because Henry is in the story now.
Lol. Just kidding, but really I adore Henry, and think his magic and illness/curse/whatever we want to call it is very intriguing. And I love that Henry and Asta can spend all the time they want together because of Asta being mana-less. It’s great. And his ability to manipulate the Black Bulls hideout, shifting around the layout and changing it to whatever form is going to be the most useful…or just pranking the other members, because I’m sure he’s done that before too. I mean, if you had his skill, wouldn’t you move the bathroom to various random locations just to watch people stumble around looking for it. No? Just me? Okay, I wouldn’t do it in reality, but in this fictional world, it’s just an amusing thought.
But oh man, so this volume is where I feel like things have gotten massively intense. Like so many of their friends and allies and teammates have been turned into elves, and they’ve never faced a challenge quite like this one before. It really is going to be an absolutely incredible story arc, and I’m so darn excited about it.
We get to see a few of our favorites pulling out all the stops, harnessing new skills and spells (and swords) to try and save their friends and their kingdom.
I am so very excited about catching up on the anime and watching this section. I have a feeling that it is going to be absolutely incredible.
But this volume has a few Black Bulls facing down Luck, their teammate who has been taken over by an elf. If you thought Luck was a happy berserker before, just wait until you see him now. I just adore the weirdos of the Black Bulls so much. They all have such unique personalities, and getting to learn more about them, and watch them grow as people and as a team, it’s probably my favorite part of this series. Well, that and their determination to never give up and keep fighting for their friends.
If you haven’t checked out Black Clover, either the anime or the manga, I seriously recommend it.
