Hey all, Dani here.
I am so sorry that my blog hasn’t been updated in the past few days. It was a crazy weekend, and I feel like I haven’t really been able to slow down since, which has made blogging difficult. Add in to that the fact that I have only finished two books since last week…and well, I have some posts to make up for.
Okay, now let’s talk about everything else from the past week. As always, let’s start with watches.
Over the weekend Damian and I went down to the Ohio Renaissance Festival for the last time in 2019. Unlike previous trips where we were focused on the shows and the shopping, this time we were there for food and drink. I’d say we succeeded on both of those fronts. I have a number of photos up on my Instagram if you’d like to see what deliciousness we consumed.
Then we were told that a buddy of ours in the military will be home for a few days at the end of the month, and he wants to have a sort of Halloween Party with friends, video games, food, and D&D. So now I have just a couple weeks to put together a quick little D&D session for everyone…on top of the Halloween D&D One-Shot adventure I’m running this upcoming weekend at our local game store. So…my focus sort-of shifted over to that instead of this blog.
I’m still going to try and get a few more posts prepped and posted, but if that doesn’t happen, I know you guys all understand that sometimes life throws things at all of us sometimes.
We watched “Jurassic World,” and a few episodes of “Black Clover” Season 2.
As for reads, I finished The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith, and Waterworld, Volume 3: Xavier by Rachel E. Kelly.
My current read is The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh, and I am really enjoying it so far. It is definitely very descriptive and atmospheric.
When it comes to what I’m hoping to read soon…well this weekend is Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon, so if all goes well I will have a big update to give you all next week. My main plain is to read a whole bunch of manga volumes.
That is all from me for today. What books have you been reading lately? Have you watched any Halloween themed movies? Let me know in the comments below, and I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
