Weekly Wrap-Up (30)

Hey all, Dani here.

It has been another interesting week. Today is my Pop-Pop’s birthday. He’s 80 years old. We’re having a party for him this weekend, which should be pretty fun.

All right, let’s jump into another round of talking about what I’ve read ad watched over the last week, what I’m currently reading, and what I’m hoping to read next.

First up, watches. We’ve pretty much re-watched all of Book One of Avatar: the Last Airbender. We also watched a little more of “The Big Bang Theory” season 9. Then we watched “The League of Extraordinary Gentleman,” “Eragon,” and “The Covenant.” So not a lot, but we’ve enjoyed them.

Now for what I’ve read in the last week. First I finished Hunted by Meagan Spooner. Then I DNFd How to Hack a Heartbreak by Kristin Rockaway. After that I read Escape from Castle Ravenloft and The Mad Mage’s Academy, both by Matt Forbeck. After that I quickly devoured The Girl from the Other Side Vol 7 by Nagabe, before moving on to Great Goddesses: Life Lessons from myths and monsters by Nikita Gill.

It’s possible that my current read is still Well Met by Jen DeLuca, but I could currently be reading The Valiant by Lesley Livingston. It just depends on how much reading time I got at work today.

As for my upcoming reads, most likely the next book I’m going to pick up is Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir, and it sounds so interesting. I’ve only heard good things about this new release so I am excited to dive in.

That’s all from me for today. What are you currently reading? Let me know in the comments and I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
