Weekly Wrap-Up (28)

Hey all, Dani here.

Man, it bums me out when I have small weekly wrap-ups. I mean, I know I’m still doing decent reading overall, but after the past few months, I feel like this month has been kinda slow. Realistically I can look at my list of books for my wrap-up and it actually looks like a decent enough number of books, so I don’t know why I’m acting as if I’m not actually accomplishing a lot of reading. I guess I just put pressure on myself to read all of the books, lol.

All right, well let’s just get started with this week’s wrap up, so we can talk about what we’ve been watching, what we’ve been reading, and what we’ve been doing.

First up, let’s talk watches. We finished up Season Eight of “The Big Bang Theory,” and started Season Nine. We also watched the new “Hellboy,” and started Volume 2 of the animated “X-Men” TV series. So, overall not a bad week.

So I managed to finish my re-read-through of The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. I’m really hoping to continue working on the Wheel of Time series, because I read the first several novels years ago, and I’d finally like to finish the series…especially with the Amazon series being made. Then I utterly devoured Fan the Fame by Anna Priemaza, before jumping back into The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow.

For my current reads, oh yeah, I’m still working on the same writing books as last week. Look, I’m taking my time with them, and jotting down all sorts of notes. I’ll be good for quite some time with my Weekend Writer posts, so that’ll be great. Something to look forward to.

As for what I’m reading next, well I have a few options, because Damian and I are going out of town for a couple nights over the weekend, and we’ll have our evenings pretty much free, so I’m planning on relaxing in the pool/hot tub and reading.

So, I think that’s all for today. Let me know what you’re reading in the comments, and I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
