Weekly Wrap-Up (20)

Hey all, Dani here.

Another post that’s a few hours later than my normal posting time. I didn’t get this prepped up like I normally would have, and then we had some errands and chores to take care of after work…and we just got home a few minutes ago, so I’m trying to get this post all typed up so I can prep up a few other posts and then maybe get some more reading done.

Let’s just start talking about everything that’s gone on in the last week.

First up, let’s talk about the books I’ve finished in the last week. I finished up Protect the Prince by Jennifer Estep, What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera, The Shadowglass by Rin Chupeco, Dragon Goes House-Hunting Vol 3 by Kawo Tanuki and Choco Aya, My Hero Academia Vol 19 by Kohei Horikoshi, and Bungo Stray Dogs Vol 1 by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. So yeah, all I’ve finished so far in July is volumes of manga. But more is coming; I promise.

To back up that promise, let’s talk about the books I am currently reading. Those include Specter by Katie Jane Gallagher, Comics Will Break Your Heart by Faith Erin Hicks, and Wicked Fox by Kat Cho.

Now, as for the books I’m hoping to read soon, there is definitely some more manga in my future, which is great. I’m probably going to pick up the next couple volumes of Delicious in Dungeon, and probably the first volume in Akame Ga Kill Zero. But I don’t know exactly what book(s) I want to pick up. There are so many that I want to read, and I don’t know if I’m more in a mood for fantasy or contemporary. All I know is that I have a four day weekend, so I’m going to try and read as much as possible during that time.

So yeah, here’s some possible options for books I might pick up over the next week.

As for watches, over the past week I watched “The Hunger Games,” “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” “Captain Marvel,” “Avengers: Endgame,” and some more of season five of “The Big Bang Theory.”

And I have done a lot of thinking about my project for Camp NaNoWriMo. So no words just yet, but I have plenty planned out in my mind; I just need to get them down on paper, and I’ll be doing that very soon, so I’ll actually have a writing update next week.

That’s all from me for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow with my Top Ten Reads of 2019 (Jan-June Edition) post.
