Hey guys Damian here,
Got a series here that’s been a little while in the waiting for review and I’m hoping to get a few more reviews before the big move that’s coming up. For now though I’ll focus on this one.
Summary
For twelve years, the virtual world of Yggdrasil has served as the playground and battlefield for the skeletal lord Momonga and his guild of fellow monsters, Ainz Ooal Gown. But the guild’s glory days are over, and the game is shutting down permanently. When Momonga logs in one last time just to be there when the servers go dark, something happens-and suddenly, fantasy is reality. A rogues’ gallery of fanatically devoted NPCs is ready to obey his every order, but the world Momonga now inhabits is not the one he remembers. The game may be over, but the epic tale of Ainz Ooal Gown is only beginning…

Okay so I originally came across this series as the anime. Thought it was a bit of an odd all concept since it seemingly copied ideas similar to .Hack, Sword Art Online, and Log Horizon. However the thing that separates this is that it is from then point of view from the being that has the potential to be the big bad villain. The in depth development of the non- player characters, the awesome art work, and the fact we get stats for a few of those characters is definitely a highlight of this book. I think I prefer this to the anime, but that won’t stop me from watching it. I definitely recommend this light novel series to anyone interested in the series in general.
Yeah, I still need to read this one. I’m a bad fiance. You’ve been telling me to read it for what, over a year now? lol. There are just so many books out there that I need/want to read. I need more time for reading.
