August Wrap-Up

Hey all, Sam here.

Well….August was another interesting reading month. It took a whole week for me to even have one completed book for the month. Overall, the number of reads for this month is actually pretty darn good. However, most of those reads were shorter or quicker reads: a handful of novellas, a couple graphic novels, an issue of a comic, and a couple shorter novels.

I have so many amazing sounding chunkier novels that I want to read, and I just haven’t picked them up yet. We’ll see what happens over the next few months. Sometimes I end up with an impressive end of the year reading marathon. You can probably see by my September TBR that I have some rather lofty goals for what books I want to read this month.

Lore Olympus Volume 5 by Rachel Smythe — 5 stars

Lore Olympus Volume 6 by Rachel Smythe — 5 stars

Confessions of a Virgin on a Dating App by Sydney Wilder — 4.5 stars

Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca — 5 stars

Origins of a Guild Master by A.M. Eno — 4 stars

Secrets of a Sagacious Witch by A.M. Eno — 4 stars

Dawn of a Ruinous Love by A.M. Eno — 4.5 stars

Creation of a Fated Thief by A.M. Eno — 4.5 stars

Heart of an Outcast Mistress by A.M. Eno — 4 stars

Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins IV #3 by Matthew Mercer, Jody Houser, Noah Hayes, Diana Sousa, and Ariana Maher — 5 stars

Sacrifice for the Standing Stones by Bree Moore — 5 stars

The Night Market by Jesikah Sundin — 5 stars

Yeah, I definitely need to get reviews written up for basically all of these…so hopefully I’m able to do that pretty soon. Anyway, that’s it for my August reading wrap-up. What did you read last month? Let me know in the comments because I sincerely love talking about books.

That’s all from me for today. I’ll be back soon with more geeky content.
