Today, I am so very excited to be on the cover reveal team for an upcoming release. While this book won’t be out until early 2025, I was immediately intrigued by the book’s title…and then the fact that it is being pitched as gay “Charmed” meets “The Hunger Games.” So, yeah, sign me up.

To be selected as one of the people helping to show off the cover is an honor, and I will be getting an e-ARC to read as well.

I’ll be completely honest…I’ve been meaning to pick up and read a book by Ben Alderson for YEARS now…and I have picked up quite a few. Actually about a week ago, I went on an e-book buying binge and bought three whole series by him…because honestly, based on the synopses and vibes of these books, I have a solid feeling that I’m going to enjoy them. So, hopefully over the next few months I’ll be reading and then reviewing several of his books here and possibly even over on my Instagram and TikTok.

I’m still trying to work myself up to making content for TikTok. When I talk about books to people in person, they say that I should do a TikTok or YouTube, but as soon as I sit down in front of a camera, I basically freeze up and feel very awkward about it all. But I want to try to work through that…because I want more bookish buddies.

The Witch and His Crow is Ben Alderson’s first MM paranormal romance, and there will be at least SIX exclusive arts inside the book, which sounds very cool. The crow cover art is by @selkkiedesigns, and the hardcase art (art under the dust jacket) is by @spookgeist.

This intriguing book will be out March 4th, 2025, and I’m very excited to read it and have a copy of it on my bookshelves in my library.
