Hey all, Sam here.
Okay, yes, I did get a little distracted from my TBR last month, but I still ended up having a pretty good reading month, so it’s all totally fine. I’ll have my February wrap-up posted this weekend, because there’s still whatever I can read today and tomorrow to add to that read-books list.
Starting off my March TBR with just a few e-ARCs I was approved for via NetGalley. Now what’s actually fun is that I don’t have that many NetGalley reads for March. In fact, half of what I was approved for with a March release date I’ve already read, so I will have their reviews up next week. I’m probably going to go prep them up once I finish this post. So here’s the NetGalley portion of my To Be Read list/pile for the month…

That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human by Kimberly Lemming (March 5), Book, Beast, and Crow by Elizabeth Byrne (March 12), Song of the Huntress by Lucy Holland (March 19), Empire of Shadows by Jacquelyn Benson (April 2)
See? Not too many. Depending on how I’m feeling, I might end up reading some more of my April releases (I have 9 currently)…or I could go wild with my TBR backlog, because I have a lot of those books on my list too.

For my owned TBR, I definitely want to read A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal, An Education in Malice by S.T. Gibson, The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden, and A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle Jensen.
These are all February releases, and I am so so very excited about reading them. Honestly, I’m hoping to read all of these at the beginning of the month, and if I fly through them as I imagine I will, then I might end up adding more books to my March reads.

I think 12 books is a good number to have for a month’s TBR, so I also hope to read To Cage a God by Elizabeth May, Lore of the Wilds by Analeigh Sbrana, Lady of Starfire by Melissa K. Roehrich, and Daindreth’s Assassin by Elizabeth Wheatley.
Again, I have a couple February book releases, but then I also have a couple indie books I’m excited about. Obviously I started reading the Lady of Darkness series by Melissa K Roehrich at the end of 2023, and I’m just a bit obsessed with it. This is the final book in the series and I made myself take a small break before jumping into it. And then I’ve been seeing Elizabeth Wheatley on my social media for the past couple months, and I couldn’t resist finally picking up one of her books to give it a try, so we’ll see how that goes.
It looks like it is going to be a great month of reading. Honestly, 2024 has already been a pretty awesome year of reading so far, so I’m very excited to see what the rest of the year has in store.
All right, that is all from me for today. What books are at the top of your TBR for March? Let me know in the comments because I’d love to hear all about your anticipated reads. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I’ll be back soon with more geeky content.
